I had this big plan of how I would tell my hubby when he arrived home from the gym. I wasn't going to clean, but then couldn't take it...so I dusted all that I could and then ordered in Chinese for dinner. I refused to cook after finding this mess!
Oh..you might ask how we got all this dust. From what I can tell the tile man left our door from our family room into our garage open while he cut the tile with his saw in the garage..that is the only thing I can figure out.
So...hubby arrived home and I had just started eating dinner. I had calmed down and was watching Little People Big World. I told him my frustrations and in his most calm voice he said, "honey that is part of it". WHAT? I actually controlled myself thought about what he said and was fine. How did that happen? I did tell him that I wanted to get the carpets shampooed and have the house professionally cleaned...and then my hubby kindly reminded me that we should wait until we get the wainscoating up. Yep...right again.
I guess I will just have to live in the dirt for a while. The laundry room and guest bath are finished. The tile in the 1/2 bath and pantry will be grouted and finished tomorrow.
Hubby is painting the laundry room tomorrow night...and then we will almost be back to normal.
On a much happier note, I have a couple of things to share with you all! I received an email tonight about.... the 31 KID Collection. I just checked out a video about all the new products! OH MY GOODNESS! I am in love with everything! You mommies, aunts, grandmas, and everyone else are going to love the patterns and the products! I am already thinking of what I am going to get my nephew!
I also have signed up to be a vendor for an expo in May. If you are in the area the expo is called "Just For Her Expo". It is the last weekend in May and is sure to be a hit! I am one of 200 vendors! www.justforherexpo.com
So much news and not enough time tonight. I took the first few hours tonight at home and spent my time doing things around the house and spending some good old quality time with muscleman. I have let the computer overtake my life and I am going to get it back!
One more thing. If you havea free moment, please say a prayer for a baby named Jonah. His link is on the right hand side. My heart breaks for him and his family. I find myself wanting to be a mommy more and more each day, but then I think of all those parents who are going through such difficult times with their little ones and I am not sure I could be as strong as they are. Maybe I am just called to pray for them all and show my love and support. It's a good start anyway.
Sleep tight everyone.
