Day off

There is nothing like a day off from work in the middle of the week. Hubby and I took today off. We had several errands to run and also had some stuff around the house that we needed to get done. Boy does it feel good to have a clean 1/2 house! Yes, I spent this afternoon cleaning the main floor of our house while muscleman spent time finishing up the painting in the laundry room.

The tile is complete and we have now begun to paint the inside of our home from head to toe! Since we already had the washer and dryer out of the laundry room we thought that would be a good place to start.

No...we didn't paint it another color nor are we in the rest of the house. It's just that when you buy a new home that is prebuilt they put one coat of paint on the walls as a base....so we are adding a gloss coat of the same color to help it pop just a bit more and is easy to clean the walls too!

Pictures to come! I am exhausted and need to work on a few more things before I go to bed. I feel like we got quite a bit accomplished today and am thankful for that!
