My first time participating in the "Not me Mondays"...let's see how it goes.

I did not look forward to staying in my pjs at home on New Years Eve and when at the last minute we were invited to a party from one of the hubby's employees, I did not pretend to not feel well in order to not have to go! hey I was already dress for bed at 8:00!

I did not email my boss on Friday morning and tell her that I couldn't come to work as I had to much to do at home. And I most certainly did not spend two hours on the couch that morning watching some of my favorite shows!

I did not almost cry because I took all of the Christmas decorations down and packed them away.

I did not get upset when my hubby asked if he could use the computer while he had control over the remote control to the tv. And I most definitely did not go have a small pity party by myself in our guest bedroom hoping that he would notice and never did!

I did not go to Target and buy the movie Burn after Reading because my hubby told me to get it and it was going to be so good........ and we did not stop the movie in the middle and not finish it. Dumb MOVIE!

And finally....I did not put an 11 lb turkey in our oven to bake last night at 6:00 in hopes that it would be done before bedtime!

New Design

Yes...I have done it! After working on it for almost 24 hours, I have come up with a new design for the blog! I believe you will find all kinds of new things on the blog. Let me do some explaining....better yet...let me give you a tour!

In the upper left hand corner, you will see "Auntie D's recipes". If you click on that, you will be taken to my recipe blog! I have even posted my first recipe of Homemade Noodles. Since I know Little "I" loved them on Christmas Day maybe mommy or grandma can make him some soon...hehe!

Below the recipe link are links to some of the blogs that I like to visit and below this list you will find my Twitter updates....in case you want to know what I am thinking or doing any time during the day/night. My twitter updates are also linked to my facebook account, so each time I update twitter it will automatically update my fb account....so those of you who use facebook can keep up to date too.

Now...on the right hand side not much has changed, I think things are labeled better as well as a couple of photo links of two websites that I so enjoy reading!

Oh yes...at the bottom of the blog, I have added a playlist. I LOVE MUSIC! And wanted to share with you all some of my favorites. I will be updating this from time to time.

I have received some great help in putting this blog design together. A big thank you to the following.....the fonts are from KevinandAmanda.com....THANKS Amanda...they are great! The background and templates are from a couple of places....kudos to Blog-in-a-box and from shabbyprincess.com. I think that is about it for now. Hopefully, this blog has a little more flair to keep you all entertained and interested!

Muscleman is wanting to use the computer.....I just can't seem to give this up...I am so addicted!

Granny's Mirror

So a while back I mentioned to my Pops that I would like to have a mirror that was in my Granny's house. So before I hung it up in our house, I decided that it needed a little flair....so I worked on this today too....the above picture is what the edge looked like before...

And here is afterwards.....hung on our wall.....

Just a little beaded garland I got on clearance (in the colors of our front room furniture) and the use of my glue gun.....fun fun!
